Law Of Attraction Is Magick

To many, the results of consciously using the Law of Attraction seem like magick. I've heard many teleseminars, the presenters in the movie The Secret and reading books on intention and Law of Attraction equate the results of manifestation to being like magick.

I've read, studied and practiced magick (or as friends and I refer to it "applied metaphysical phenomenon") for several years.

I spell magic with a 'k' to differentiate the use of sleight-of-hand from the occult sciences. It's a common spelling in occult writings. For years I also taught, sold and performed magic shows. So for clarification in my writings I'll be using both spellings. The spelling with a 'k' will refer to the occult sciences.

Now, don't panic about the word occult, dictionaries define it to mean secret, obscure or hidden. Hence the title of the movie The Secret is so appropriate.

Now, what's interesting about my studies of magick, is that it was packed full of ritual and ceremony. That was appealing to me. Some might say it's because I'm a recovering Catholic. I was also attracted to the occult because of the mystery. Who doesn't want to know a good secret? I also had a desire for personal power; I wanted to make things happen. This was in part due to my feeling insecure and with little self confidence. I thought that the magickal powers would make everything better. I was looking for the answer outside of myself, in the ritual and ceremony without looking inward for my own power.

Good teachers of the occult sciences and all teachers of Law of Attraction I've come across put the responsibility squarely on each individual's shoulders.

I can tell you that the same basic principles of the Law of Attraction are the basic principles of magick. Occult magick is a formalized application of tuning in the mind, body and spirit, also known as a spell, to cause a manifestation. Not so different from any teacher's Law of Attraction program than another's. It's just their spin, their experience, their way of sharing the same information. Much like what you read here.

When preparing for a magickal ritual, the practitioner will determine that which they desire to happen or manifest, some might call this a goal. Many systems of magick will start with a meditation or some relaxation technique, a key component of Law of Attraction teachers espouse is the practice of meditation or some relaxation technique. While performing the magickal ritual, the practitioner is to work themselves up into a frenzy, a higher state of excitement about their desire and to visualize there desire manifested. Similarly, Law of Attraction is based on energy frequencies and higher levels of energy focused through the visualization of the desire.

Once the ritual is completed, the practitioner is to release the energy built-up in the ritual and "let it go" out into the Universe to let the Powers That Be bring into being the practitioner's desire.

The Law of Attraction works like magic because it is magick. (Yes, I did use both spellings on purpose.)

The New Age movement; Neopaganism, Druidism, Shamanism, Wicca, etc. the numerous references of the occult sciences in today's society are all evidence that the secret is out in the public awareness. The explosion of media coverage of books and movies, the number of websites and blogs, the coaches and teachers are just lifting the veil of mystery that has shrouded the Law of Attraction behind the occult sciences.

And Quantum Physics is providing the scientific, empirical evidence that sorcerers, wizards and witches have worked with for centuries.

Blessed Be

The 7 Biggest Reasons For Failure With The Law Of Attraction

There are seven major things that get in the way of people finding success with the law of attraction. It is important to evaluate yourself and make sure that you are avoiding these seven pitfalls if you wish to acquire your desire.

1. Not writing down your goals. One of the biggest reasons that most people fail when it comes to the law of attraction is one of the easiest things to do and fix. Most people simply do not write down their goals. They try to keep them in their head and think that trying to remember them will be enough. This will not be enough. You must take the first step of creation by writing down your goals on a piece of paper bringing them into the physical world.

2. People write down their goals then put them some place that those goals gather dust. You must take the time to evaluate your goals, read your goals, connect with your goals on an emotional level. You can't simply write them down and then expect them to come into your life. You need to take the time every single day to review them and actually feel the feelings of having them.

3. People simply want and take no action. You can't simply write down your goals and wish that they will come true. So many people do this and then never make any changes at all in the way they talk, the way they think, and the way they act. This would be like slamming a glass on the floor to break it, then slamming it on the floor to try and put it together again. You cannot keep doing what you are doing, thinking what your thinking, and speaking like you are speaking and expect different results. The life you live today is a direct reflection of past thoughts, words, and actions and tomorrow will be a direct reflection of today's thoughts, words, and actions. Change these if you want to change your life.

4. Most people think and speak way to much in the negative and future tense. The biggest thing you can begin doing right now is starting to think positive and see the positive in everything no matter how bad it may be. There is always a ray of light in even the darkest of places and your ability to see this ray of light will shift your entire emotional and mental focus toward more positive emotions and feelings. Positive emotions and feelings will help to attract what you want much more quickly. You also need to make sure that you are changing the time frame in which you are talking and thinking about what you want. Learn to speak and think about what you want as though it is already a part of your life. Bringing those things from the future, like the million dollars you want, to the present, makes all the difference. The universe doesn't know time, it simply knows to put things where ever they are in your mind. If you see that million dollars happening tomorrow, the universe will always keep it in the tomorrow, and you know what they say, tomorrow never comes. Think, speak, and act as though you have the million dollars right now and truly believe it and the universe will bow down to your every wim.

How to Be Attractive to Women for a Better Future

Women are attracted to guys who are confident, humorous, cool, and sexy. But not all women are attracted to these kinds of guys. Some women like guys who treat them bad, but some will not tolerate any nonsense from guys.

I know there are a lot of techniques out there, teaching you how to be attractive to a woman. They are mostly true, but it is just that you will need to see which type of women you are targeting. Once you know what type of girl is she, you can play accordingly to your techniques and emerge victorious.
Let me just share with you some of the ways that you can use so as to attract her.

1. Be nice and sincere. There is nothing sweeter to a woman than a genuinely kind man, if you know how to use it properly.

2. Be humorous. Make fun of her and crack funny jokes to her. Women like guys who have a sense of humor, so that they will feel entertained. But when you are cracking joke, make sure that the jokes are funny, and do not ever crack racist jokes.

3. Be different from other guys. Gorgeous women tend to have a lot of typical nice guys wooing them. They have most probably met hundreds of guys who use the same old pick-up lines. You need to be different if you want to capture her attention. One of the ways is to be cocky, but at the same time funny. Make fun of her when you first meet her, and make her feel that you are not intimidated by her.

4. Be observant to her. It shows you care enough to notice, or gives you a good opener in a bar.

5. Do not be nice in way that she will think that you are timid and a pushover. You must have your own sense of pride, directions, and confidence. These traits are just the perfect baits to attract women.

Nothing beats going out there and experiences it. You can read as many tricks and techniques as you wish, but if you never practice them, you are getting nowhere. Do not afraid of rejection, it is just part and parcel of the dating game.

Train Your Mind To Become Successful And You Will Be

We all know that there are many avenues which will bring about success. One of the main obstacles is actually choosing something to undertake and putting all of your effort into achieving it. This is perhaps the most important step if you are to become successful. But what if you found something you are passionate about, but it isn't yielding a profitable income for you? Well, perhaps the way you think is actually stunting your success. We all know that a positive attitude is important, but those words are useless unless one actually knows how to create a positive attitude within himself or herself.

Fortunately, we are provided with many resources for retraining our minds to achieve what we would like to achieve. One of the most important things we can learn from any self help material is that we must have a respect for our challenges that we face instead of pretending that they don't exist or running from them. Just about every challenge we face has the potential to teach us something if we respect these challenges and work to overcome them.

By feeding your mind the correct thoughts, it is possible for anyone to develop a sense of faith and determination with anything he or she is pursuing and overcome any challenges. This will sharpen any of our existing skills and create new ones. Perhaps the greatest skill we could all acquire is being persistent until our goals are met while overcoming any challenges. The mind is our most powerful tool. By using it in a positive way, we could all make a positive impact in the world.

Polywood is More Than a Plastic Chair

When people think of plastic chairs, polywood furniture is not the first thing that comes to mind. Most picture the cheap plastic chairs that blow across the yard with the slightest breeze and fade to a dull, indescribable color the first year they are left in the elements.

Since 1990, the polywood industry has been working to change the vision of what plastic furniture looks like. This new polywood furniture is designed to look like traditional lumber with grains built in. It has the strength of wood and the durability of plastic. It also has ultraviolet inhibitors built in so that it holds its color and doesn't have to be repainted.

The polywood is being used to make everything from footstools to Adirondack style chairs. The polywood furniture can be found in colors that are bright and vibrant or more subdued and wood toned. The choices seem only limited by the imagination of the buyer. Since you can also build your deck from the same product, then it is possible to truly match your furniture and deck completely.

This is not your ordinary plastic furniture. Because of the heavy duty construction and the durability, polywood furniture falls in the category of quality outdoor furniture. Be prepared to pay a little more than you might for even traditional wood furniture. Keep in mind that the polywood will not be plagued by the elements the way wood will be. It is likely that your polywood furniture could be around for many more years than any traditional wood products.

Polywood furniture is made from recycled plastics. Not only is it a great investment for your home, but it is also an investment in the future of the planet. Take some time to investigate this new "green" product. You will be surprised and delighted at what you find it has to offer you.

Using Rocks In Landscaping

If you look around you will see that a lot of gardens the world over follow the same basic pattern: a lawn, some trees and flowerbeds around the house. It doesn't have to be that way and you can come up with a more individual design for your backyard by creating a stylish and beautiful effect with rocks.

Smarten Up Your Garden

The fist thing to consider when looking at ways to spice up your design scheme is to examine your lawn. If you do not get much use out of it, then it's probably not necessary to keep it: you can remove it and prepare the soil for more visually stimulating plants with simple tools. When you start digging to prepare for planting make sure you remove any stones that would be in the way, and take this opportunity to add a watering system.

The Ideal Footpath

It is always worth considering adding a proper path for visitors coming to your house so they do not have to use the driveway or walk through the lawn. If you ensure it is kept neat you will avoid dragging muck into the house. It is worth considering using stone paving or rocks to achieve this: just make sure that all the stones you use are standing firm on the ground and do not move about when stepped on. You can easily create more visual interest by adding turns and curves to the pathway.

Making Sure The Rocks Stay Firmly In Place

There are a couple of steps you can take to ensure that the rocks you use do not move. Firstly you need to dig the soil underneath each of them, approximately four or five inches deep. Then you want to add a layer of pebbles on the newly dug soil before laying the rocks and stones. With these simple precautions they should be safe to step on and remain stable over time.

Planting Scheme

You can give your new landscape a defined structure with the addition of trees and shrubs. As a rule you should start with planting the larger specimens, and then gradually move down the list until you get to flowers and small plants. It's usually a good idea to introduce perennials to a garden that features rocks as they can lend their vibrant colors and good looks to the décor. You can use river pebbles and rocks as a great substitute to mulch in order to keep weeds at bay.

The Icing On The Cake

To finish off your new landscaping scheme you should look at adding climbers around the garden. Climbing vines also add a great finishing touch to porches and woodwork. They will bring an air of Italy to your design! Be creative with the way you use rock features. For instance statues can give play a very decorative role and tie in together your stone scheme.

How is Your Money Mojo?

Money is just like anything else - it is made of energy, it behaves as all energy does. All energy vibrates and is attracted to other energy of similar vibration.

The magic, or 'mojo', of attracting money is all about making sure your energy matches the energy of abundant money.

If you feel bad about money, then chances are you are repelling money and attracting more circumstances that perpetuate feeling bad about money, or feeling bad in general.

How can you start changing your money mojo?

First of all, you need to get in tune with what kind of thoughts, feelings, and vibrations you are currently experiencing around money. Take an inventory of your current thoughts and beliefs and emotions around money. Think about what you learned from your family about money. What kinds of behaviours, attitudes, and beliefs were reflected there for you to learn and absorb as a young person?

As you write your inventory, notice how these thoughts and beliefs make you feel. Do they feel good (exhilirated, excited, joyful, abundant) or do they make you feel bad (worried, troubled, resentful, frustrated)?

This is your gauge - if you feel bad more often than good about money, then you are attracting people, things, and circumstances that reflect that vibration.

Once you have an awareness about what is happening with your Money Mojo, you can then deliberately choose new beliefs, new feelings, and new thoughts around money that reflect more of what you truly desire (wealth, abundance, freedom).

Here is one simple way to boost your money mojo immediately:

Identify as many examples every day where money absolutely serves you well each day. Maybe it is that you have enough coins to put in the parking meter, or you have enough to buy a cup of coffee, or that you have enough to have clothes on your back (there is money in clothes, even if you did not buy them yourself), or maybe you find a spare coin in the couch (real evidence of the magic of money!)

When you tune in to how money is already working well and magically for you in your life, and you feel genuine appreciation for that, then you are changing your money calibration to 'abundance'. You are generating positive vibrations, you are feeling good, and therefore it follows you will attract people, things, and circumstances that also make you feel good. This is how you start a positive tailspin into feeling good all the time (instead of a negative tailspin of doubt, stress, and worry).

Generation Y And Over Inflated Egos

Studies are beginning to show that college students are showing a rising ego rush that is a "red flag" for problems in their personal and social lives.

The so called, Millennial Generation, also called Gen Y, is beginning to exhibit signs of losing interest in emotionally intimate bonds. In my professional practice, I am seeing young clients who are lashing out in inappropriate ways when rejected or insulted.

Are we heading towards a society where our future adult population is going to treat each other with a lack of respect and an inability to connect with each other?

College students are showing signs of elevated narcissism. Examples of inflated egos might be: students who talk on their cell phones when others are studying in the quiet atmosphere of school computer centers; or students who "expect" good grades just because they show up for class.

How does Emotional Intelligence (EQ) fit into all of this? EQ is related to the ability to understand one's own feelings and behaviors as well as the capacity to sense the feelings and needs of others. EQ utilizes information in a way that enhances interpersonal relationships. Empathy, compassion, cooperation, and forgiveness are components of EQ. Without these emotions, people cannot connect to each other. They then become aggressive and pay no attention to the feelings or needs of others; they threaten others' rights, violate or offend the rights of others and think only of themselves.

If, in fact, the Millennial Generations (Gen Y) has an inflated sense of self and tends to have less interest in emotionally intimate bonds, eventually we could have a society in which narcissistic behavior is considered to be the norm.

Now, more than ever, it is important to recognize in those we love and care about, whether or not they are exhibiting the "it's all about me" attitude. Now is the time to introduce into their lives a skill building program that assists in learning direct, honest, and appropriate expressions of thoughts, feelings and behaviors when dealing with others. This is a program that teaches one to be direct and honest in communicating with other without violating their rights.

Such a program is available through Anger Management Services in Beverly Hills, CA. Emotional Intelligence is a learned response and can be taught through skill building that fits the needs of the individual.
